Terminal A, B, C, and E Paving Expansion and Terminal B Deicing Liquid (Glycol) Recovery System, DFW International Airport, TX. A three year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract consist of grading, drainage, and paving design for apron AEP53 paving, taxiway, WiskeyKilo (WK), Hotel Yankee (HY) and JA. Other tasks included airfield lighting, pavement marking geometric layouts, identify haul routes, and utility relocations. Other tasks included construction sequencing, paving quantities, cost estimates, and change orders. Terminal B contract included deicing liquid (glycol) recovery system consisting of detailed design, specification cost estimates for DFW’s pilot glycol recovery system. The new system encompassed modification of two existing glycol load-off sites for new recovery system. Additional task included detailed design and specifications for a gravity and force pumped system to collect, store, and dispose of surface runoff from aircraft deicing operations. The glycol system is designed to meet NPDES storm water discharge permit requirements. * Design CM


CentrePort Station Improvements and Double Tracking, Fort Worth, TX.
2CMD was responsible for improvement of 7,000 feet of track with wood ties, ballast and rail, as well as 90,000 cubic yards of excavation and 22,000 square feet of steel sheet piles. The project also included constructing two bridges with 54-inch diameter drilled piers supporting 84 pre-stressed concrete box beams with 1,000 square yards of 6-inch concrete platform. 2CMD’s duties included providing an on-site construction contract administrator, on-call structural specialty observer and on-call QA/QC specialty observer over a 2-year period. CM


McKinney Avenue Trolley, Dallas, TX. Performed construction inspection tasks during the construction of the trolley rail and catenary systems. Specific project responsibilities included providing inspection and approval of the catenary system installation, as well as design, construction administration and construction management services for the trolley maintenance building. The project was completed in 1987. * Design CM


Falcon AFB Dining Facility, Colorado Springs, CO.
Structural design for an addition to and renovation of the Base dining facility. Responsibilities included attending a three-day design charette to evaluate and establish the user need, base facility availability and funding agency budget limitations. Construction administration assistance was provided to the Base Contracting Officer during project construction.


Super Laundry City, Garland, TX. This project involved serving as Owner’s Representative, providing program management for design, and obtaining the building permit for a 7,000- square foot, one-story coin-operated laundry facility. Design CM


Furniture Market Phase I & II, Grand Prairie, TX.
2CMD was a CM-at-Risk, design-build project for the development of a 5.5-acre property to construct an 18,000 & 32,000-square foot furniture store. Duties included the design and development of agricultural land to commercial property, addressing drainage concerns, landscaping, utilities and vertical construction of the retail structure. CM


Hertz Parking Lot Expansion, DFW International Airport, TX.
Civil engineering design, surveying and construction phase services for a 10-acre parking lot expansion. The new lot was paved with concrete, and included drainage; lighting, fencing, security railings and striping to match the existing adjacent Hertz service facility. * Design CM


Construction Management for New Religious Facility, Colleyville, TX
. 2CMD performed as Construction Manager/Owner’s Representative for a one-story, 7,800-square foot religious facility for the Islamic Association of Mid-Cities. Project responsibilities included retaining general contractors, subcontractors and material vendors for construction of the facility, as well as scheduling, cost estimating, shop drawing reviews, RFIs and pay request execution. CM


Dallas Independent School District (DISD) Bond Program, Dallas, TX. Responsible as Project Manager for two bid packages, comprising additions and/or renovations at seven schools, with a construction budget of approximately $17 million. Responsibilities included assessing scopes, evaluating scope to budget prepared by A/E firms, coordinating SBDM and PTA meetings, and construction bidding. * CM


City of Caddo Mills Treatment Plant.
2CMD provided structural design and construction services support for two phased, 3 million 750 GPD package wastewater treatment plant consisting of 40 ft interior and 20 ft exterior, 16’-6” tall. Design CM
