IILM Multi-Use Cultural Center, Plano, TX

2CMD is responsible for the Program Management and Structural Engineering Services. The Multi-use Cultural Center complex is approximately 50,000 SF in size and is comprised of three (3) buildings consisting of a gymnasium, a two story parochial school and a two story building housing a library and a multi-use out reach center. The roof includes a 60 ft diameter dome. 2CMD’s tasks include design management and the structural design, construction contract administration, cost estimating and monitoring the project budget. Air Cargo Facility, Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, Gulfport, MS.

Structural engineering for a one-story, 25-foot high, 200 foot x 200 foot air cargo facility building with a 2-story, 6,000-square foot lean-to office area and 5,000-square foot fumigation building. The structural system consists of conventional structural steel supported on steel H-shaped driven piles with concrete pile caps along with 8” concrete floor slab system. Loading/unloading truck docks and a related parking area are included in the project. Design

As a subconsultant to Parsons Brinckerhoff (PB), 2CMD was responsible for design of the deck slab and overall quality control for all signed and sealed plans and calculations prepared by PB in accordance with NTTA requirements. Design

CentrePort Station Improvements and Double Tracking, Fort Worth, TX.

2CMD was responsible for improvement of 7,000 feet of track with wood ties, ballast and rail, as well as 90,000 cubic yards of excavation and 22,000 square feet of steel sheet piles. The project also included constructing two bridges with 54-inch diameter drilled piers supporting 84 pre-stressed concrete box beams with 1,000 square yards of 6-inch concrete platform. 2CMD’s duties included providing an on-site construction contract administrator, on-call structural specialty observer and on-call QA/QC specialty observer over a 2-year period. Fuse Tank Storage Building, NAS-JRB, Fort Worth, TX.

2CMD performed construction of a 3,000-square foot pre-engineered metal building. The project consisted of 122’x24’ building with five overhead doors and standing seam roof with an average eave height of 15-feet. The building consisted of explosion proof electrical systems and compressed air piping systems. The off-site work included driveway of approximately 2500-square foot of reinforced concrete slab. 2CMD was General Contractor for $600,000 contract. QA/QC

Hertz Parking Lot Expansion, DFW International Airport, TX.

Civil engineering design, surveying and construction phase services for a 10-acre parking lot expansion. The new lot was paved with concrete, and included drainage; lighting, fencing, security railings and striping to match the existing adjacent Hertz service facility. Design

Cayman Village at Grand Cayman Island.

Fast-track A/E design and construction management for a 195-unit apartment complex with 13 three-story buildings, each building with five units per floor. The structure consists of concrete deck on Hambro joist supported by ICF wall system. The foundation of the buildings is on aggregate piers with the roof consisting of treated wood trusses at 2’ on center with standing seam metal roof deck. Project duties included planning approvals, designing, permitting and construction administration/management. Responsibilities included completing the total design. Design
